The GREAT Gisborne Market has over 130 stalls offering a large range of products.
Catering for all ages and tastes, the market has something for everyone

Food and wine, fresh produce, quality hand made items, arts and crafts, clothing, accessories, jewellery, books, plants and fresh flowers.

You will also find entertainment for your children and products for your pets.

The Market has been managed by the GREAT Association (Gisborne Region Events Activities and Tourism) since 2002.

Funds raised at the market are distributed for the benefit of the community”.

The market welcomes all visitors to Gisborne. However we all need to follow safe practices for the welfare of everyone at the market. For this reason, the only animals allowed at the market are approved assistance dogs.

Please be mindful that the market precinct can be quite crowded at times, so attendees may choose to wear masks and maintain distancing where possible. Gisborne is an historic town in the Mt Macedon Ranges, is located 1 km west of the Calder Freeway, 54 km north-west of Melbourne.


The market is held on the first Sunday of the month from 9am – 2pm along the service roads of Aitken and Hamilton Streets and on Howey Reserve Gisborne.
